Doosan announced the list of its spring camp for the first division in 2025. The list includes a total of 57 players, including 13 coaching staff including coach Lee Seung-yeop and 44 players. The team consists of 22 pitchers, four catchers, nine infielders and nine outfielders. Among the infielders, rookie Park Joon-soon of the first round and rookie Hong Min-gyu of the third round are on the list.

Outfielder Kim Dae-han, Doosan's flagship prospect and painful finger, was also included in the list. He will join the spring camp for the third time since 2023 and 2024.

Kim Dae-han showed his talent in both pitching and hitting, throwing 150km/h as a pitcher during his time at Hwimungo, and playing as the fourth member of the youth national team as a batter. He was recognized as the best athlete, but strangely, he did not show his talents on the professional stage.

Kim Dae-han, who joined the active military in 2020 and solved military problems, returned to the team in the 2022 season and recorded a batting average of 0.240 four home runs and 11 RBIs in 51 games in the first division. He joined the first-team spring camp the very next year and prepared for the season, but his entry was delayed due to an unexpected injury in the exhibition game. Even after returning from injury, he ended the 2023 season with a disappointing performance of 0.198 (16 hits in 81 at-bats) with one homer and seven RBIs in 33 games.

Kim Dae-han also joined the spring camp last year, but regressed with a batting average of 0.133 (10 hits in 75 at-bats) and one home run and seven RBIs in 61 games of the season.

Kim Dae-han, who played in the first division for the first time in 2019 and did not show any performance until his sixth year of professional debut, moved to Kang Jung-ho School in the U.S. after participating in the Phoenix Education League and Icheon Finishing Camp in Miyazaki, Japan, after the end of the season.

Kim Dae-han, who appeared on Kang Jung-ho's YouTube channel "Kang Jung-ho_King Kang" on the 30th of last month, said, "I had a lot of expectations when I joined the team, but I had a very bad season this year, so I was thinking a lot about it," adding, "At that time, Kang Jung-ho uploaded the video, and from there, I caught the last hope and came this far with earnestness."

"I think I've gotten a lot better now. I analyzed the data once in a while, and I saw the data come out much better than the first time. I think the coach is gaining confidence because he showed a lot of good performances. I think this year will be a better performance than the previous year," he said, expressing his expectations for the next season.

Kim Min-seok, a former first-rounder of Lotte's 2023 rookie draft, earned the nickname the "second Lee Jung-hoo" by showing off his outstanding batting ability from his high school days. In his debut season in 2023, he became the eighth high school graduate to hit 100 hits in his rookie season. Choo Jae-hyun was also considered an instant talent even before joining the military as a member of the military athletic team.

Attention is focusing on whether Kim Dae-han, who joined the third spring camp after being taught by "hit-and-hit instructor" Kang Jung-ho, will be able to push out prominent competitors and take over the main outfield to fulfill Doosan fans' long-cherished aspirations.
